Pocket Star Books 2006 Paperback Good
Hazard, Wyoming, is a quiet mountain town where there's snow on the ground from October until June, the wind blows all the time, and nothing much ever happens. But that's all about to change. While the nights grow longer and the winter snow gets deeper, the violence intensifies. As does the blazing passion between Will and late-night radio host Faith Prescott.  7. Ross, JoAnn  River Road (Callahan Brothers Trilogy #2)
Pocket Books 2002 Paperback Good
Second book in JoAnn Ross's Callahan Brothers trilogy - following Blue Bayou. The series is being filmed in the family's historic house, and the star is receiving threatening letters. To say that the two protagonists are oil and water is a vast understatement. Julia is the outgoing, beautiful daughter of two former hippies turned successful artists, whereas Finn, strong, handsome, and silent, is the stoical older brother who kept the Callahans together after their father was killed. At first he has a hard time distinguishing Julia from her character in the soap; then he has trouble fighting their mutual growing attraction. The inevitable happens, but not before a stalker takes a shot, and Julia almost walks out of Finn's life for good.
