Online Etymonline Dictionary
Etymologies are not definitions; they're explanations of what our words meant and how they sounded 600 or 2,000 years ago.
The dates beside a word indicate the earliest year for which there is a surviving written record of that word (in English, unless otherwise indicated).  Look up a word..it's really cool!

This is a neat site where you can choose from a variety of Romance Book Covers, write your own message, choose your colors, and send an e-card greeting.

Rejection Collection
I appreciate my favorite Authors even more after reading some of the rejection letters they have been sent. The Authors remain anonymous, so you don't know who anyone is. And, Oh Boy! Some of the rejection letters that were sent to the Authors are just plain mean. Authors need to have tough skin when they submit their work.
