any envelope that will fit a 4x6 card. The most common sizes are: A4 at
4.25x6.25 or A6/6 Bar envelopes at 4.75x6.5. ‘A’ envelopes have a square
flap and ‘Bar’ envelopes have a pointed flap. You can get the envelopes at any
office supply store.

sooner).

Sample Page to Print: Printing Info: - All
cards print on one side of an 8.5x11 sheet of paper. - You can use whatever paper you have on hand. White card stock works the best. - If you choose, you can make your cards even more vivid by changing your
printer settings. - Choose the ‘highest’ quality printing option before printing. - When you print, choose to print “actual size.” If you do not choose that
option, your cards may be smaller than what you would like.
Cutting, Scoring,
Folding, Etc.: - Trimmed/Cut and flat, your card
will measure 9.5x6
- Folded, your card will measure 4x6 (the bookmark is 1.5x6 and is
attached to the front flap, tucking inside the card)
- The bookmark is meant to be attached to the card and removed by the recipient.
If you do not want to include the bookmark, just cut it off. You can also cut
it off and enclose it with the card.
- If you have a way to perforate or score the bookmark…great! If not, you can just fold it (press down hard
to make a good crease). Any of those methods will help the recipient remove the
bookmark easily.
- It is easier to perforate, score and fold the card before you cut it out from
the printed sheet. After you do that, you can then unfold the card and cut just
inside the gray guidelines. Re-fold and you’re finished!
- You can add a greeting on front with the included greeting tags. The tags are printed on the same sheet as the card. Cut out the greeting tag and attach to the front of the card. There are 3 tags included with each card: Happy Birthday, Thank You, and Hello.
- The printed card comes with very slim gray lines to help you with the cutting.
If you cut just inside of the lines, the lines will not be on your finished
card. If you do not want the gray
guidelines, let me know and I will send you a pdf file without them. I find
the lines helpful. Even though I have a paper cutter, I find that I do not need
to use it when I have the guidelines.
File Info: If Ordering {Qty. 1} Printable Card Most computers come
with a pdf program. You may not even know it is there! When you click on the printable
card attachment in the email I send you, your computer will either open the
file automatically, or it will open up an options box. If you get an options
box, I would recommend choosing the ‘save file’ option before you do anything
else. Save it somewhere easy, so you can find it again.
Go to where you saved your file. Click on the file to open...and print when you are ready!
If your computer
automatically opens the file and does not give you an options box, make sure
you save the file.
On the off chance that you do not have a pdf program on your computer,
you can go to the Adobe website and download it for free.
File Info: If Ordering {Multiple} Printable Cards Your cards will be
sent to you via email, tucked inside a zipped file. A zipped file is an easy,
quick way to send multiple files at one time.
When you
click on the zipped file attachment in the email I send you, your computer will
open up an options box. In the options box, choose the ‘save file’ option and
click ‘OK.’ You can then choose where on your computer you would like to save
the file. Save it somewhere easy, so you can find it again!
After
choosing a spot to save the file, click ‘save.’
Go to where
you saved your zipped file. A zipped file looks like a manilla folder with a zipper
running through it. Right click on the zipped file, choose ‘extract all,’ then
follow the directions on your screen.
Inside of
that zipped file, you will find your cards. Each card is saved as a separate
pdf file, so if you ordered 4 cards, you will see 4 separate pdf files. Click on a file to open...and print when you are ready!
Most
computers come with a pdf program. On the
off chance that you do not have a pdf program on your computer, you can go to
